Every time we go to a concert in the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, we take our Easy Chairs with. And every time, without fail, we get numerous people coming up to us to ask us where we get such lekker chairs.
Try sitting on the at ground (even if it is a nice lawn covered with a picnic blanket) for two or three hours. I promise you it is not pleasant. You end up twisting, squirming and changing position umpteen times to try and stay comfortable. But why would you do

go. Easy to set-up, just ip up and adjust
side straps according to your requirement for padded (solid closed cell foam) back and seat support. Or simply unclip the straps and you have a seat cushion for two. And the 420D nylon covering with strut supports makes it durable and stable.
Folded and cinched closed by the straps, the chair doubles as a bag that can be used to carry picnic paraphenalia and the mesh

role, the Tibloc acts
as an ingenious locking brake when hauling kit bags, and can also be simply set up
as the brake in an assisted or unassisted rescue-hauling scenario. It also has a self- cleaning slot to optimize performance under any conditions (rope that is icy or muddy, for example). Pretty cool huh?
To slid the Tibloc back down the rope, simply lift the plastic catch on the top. This releases the grip and enables the device to slide down easily. Or you can attach a very thin loop of cord through the slit and pull this.

But to use Prusik loops, you rst have to actually have them clipped to your harness. Second, you need to know how to tie the Prusik knot, and third, you will be relying on 5-millimetre cord, which is often tatty and old.
Petzl’s Tibloc puts most of that to rest. It has been around for quite some time now, is
